Dala – Canvas Primer

Dala Canvas Primer is a creamy, white medium with a lot of “tooth” that is used to coat canvases before applying paint. This is done to improve the paints adhesion to the substrate.

Canvas primer has a high latex content making it more suitable for oil paint applications.

How to use:

Dala Canvas Primer has a high latex content making it the better primer choice for oil paint.

Using a medium to soft brush coat your chosen box canvas, stretch canvas or canvas panel with a generous layer of Dala Canvas Primer.

Allow it to dry thoroughly as per instructions on the label.

Apply oil paint to primed canvas.

*Clean up using warm, soapy water.
